Leeming Bowling Club
Our Bowling Club is situated in the John Connell Reserve. For the complete newcomer to lawn bowls, looking for a sporting activity that promises much in fun and enjoyment with a competitive element, then the friendly, welcoming atmosphere of Our Bowling Club will be the place to be. Looking to join a friendly club with a great vibe about the place then come and visit and see for yourself.

The inaugural Leeming Skins Competition got under way in cold but near perfect conditions. Sponsored by DR Jags Krishnan, MLA Member for Riverton and with a field of 28 teams from Yanchep in the north to Waroona in the south and York in the east the qualifying games began on lightning fast greens. A number of our members visited Denmark over the March long weekend and it seems they had a great time.

History – Leeming Bowling Club
Report
For the first year, our home was at the Fremantle Bowling Club who kindly offered their facilities until the Leeming Bowling Club found their own patch of turf. The foundation members all got involved in the building of the club from clearing land to planting the grass for the greens. The first clubhouse was an old class room from the White Gum Valley School which was transported on the back of a truck.
