In The Deep Swim School

We want to pass down our nation's favourite past-time and see families and communities share in the joy of swimming with the next generation. The water is all we need to feel connected to ourselves and one another, to experience togetherness in an increasingly lonely society, to slow down and spend time in a wonderfully magical place.

With our world-class program and structured, thorough approach to teaching, we break down a complex skill into an easier-to-grasp, personal experience. Our classes have been carefully designed to meet the strengths and weaknesses each child uniquely faces in their swimming journey.

Instead, we take a relaxed and safe approach, thinking about the long-term impacts of teaching kids to swim, how we can best set them up to build confidence and achieve, rather than rushing them through what is a complex skill to learn.We do this with our proven progressions. Our method of skills-building in smaller steps, helps kids focus on getting good, one skill at a time.

For children over three years of age, we determine their entry level into the program with a free, ten-minute assessment at the pool. Assessments will require your child to enter the swimming pool with an instructor to show their swimming skills through a few simple activities depending on their ability.

In The Deep is privileged to have the use of the outstanding facilities at The Juniors, Kingsford. The indoor pool is maintained to the highest of standards and the warm temperature is perfect for our programs. We encourage year round swimming for consistency allowing children to learn and maintain their skills of great swimming!
