Sydney's leading eye practice for comprehensive eye tests and the management of complex conditions like keratoconus, myopia, dry eye and eye strain. Our caring team deliver peace of mind through the latest eye technology and decades of experience combating debilitating conditions such as keratoconus, eye strain and dry eyes.
The right pair of contact lenses can transform your keratoconus management, but many people struggle to find a pair they can wear successfully. If you're suffering from red eyes, chances are you may be making them worse through the incorrect use of eye drops. Ever wondered what all those numbers actually mean when you have your eyes tested?

FAQs
Report
Contact lenses are an excellent alternative to glasses for wearing whilst playing sport. Contact lenses are often safer as glasses are vulnerable to breakage. Contact lenses also often provide better peripheral vision, which may improve your child's performance in sports. If you have noticed your child's eye/eyes wandering, turning in, out, up or down, your child may have a squint (strabismus).
Eye tests
Report
Are all eye tests the same? We don't think so. A comprehensive eye test at The Eye Practice is like nothing you will have experienced before. Because we see each and every patient as someone with unique eye care needs. Your test will include a thorough eye health evaluation along with the best solution to all your eye care needs.
Cataracts
Report
Your optometrist is the best person to perform an eye test for cataract. They can examine your natural lens for cloudiness using a special magnifying light (or slit-lamp biomicroscope). They can even see early cataracts. Cataracts are a normal part of the ageing process of the eye. Your lens becomes yellow at first and then develops cloudy areas.
Diabetic eye disease
Report
It is estimated that 2 million Australians will be affected by diabetes within the next 5-10 years. This disease affects many organs and is associated with heart disease, kidney failure, limb amputations and diabetic eye disease. Diabetic retinopathy is the eye disease associated with poorly controlled diabetes.

We like to see your eyes in two distinctly different ways: First, as a finely-tuned optical instrument - much like a camera - which may need a pair of glasses or contact lenses tailored to give you the clearest and most comfortable vision possible, but we also see your eyes as the organs of sight and a great deal of our focus is on the health of those organs.
