If you are unwell or live with someone who is unwell, we ask that you do not attend your appointment. A Telehealth appointment can be arranged. A cataract is an opacity or cloudiness in the natural lens of the eye. It is still the leading cause of blindness worldwide and represents an important cause of visual impairment in the United States.
A premium intraocular lens (IOL) is a new type of IOL used in cataract patients that enables the patients to view both far distance and near distance objects without using glasses. Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE), also known as Clear Lens Exchange (CLE), is a surgical procedure to correct refractive errors in which the natural lens of the eye is removed and replaced with artificial intraocular lens.

Corneal Disorders
Report
The cornea is a clear and protective dome-shaped covering over the iris (coloured part of the eye) and the pupil (small central black circle in the iris) of the eye is made up of three main layers, namely the epithelium, stroma, and endothelium. The cornea acts as a lens and helps in projecting light onto the retina (light-sensitive layer at the back of the eye).
Glaucoma
Report
Glaucoma is a disorder associated with pressure in the eye, and is characterized by damage to the optic nerve, with consequent visual loss, initially peripheral, but potentially blinding if relentlessly progressive. Unfortunately, glaucoma is usually a disease in which the patient is entirely asymptomatic (without symptoms) until late in the disease.
Pterygium Surgery
Report
Pterygium is one of the eye conditions that refer to a benign or non cancerous growth of the conjunctiva, a clear, thin tissue that covers the white part of the eye (sclera). Pterygium may occur in one or both eyes. The cause of pterygium eye disease is not known, but can occur more often in people who spend time outdoors with frequent or excess exposure to sunlight or wind.
Uveitis
Report
Uvea is the middle layer of the eye situated between the retina and the sclera, the white layer of the eye. It extends from the back of the eye towards the front and includes the iris, coloured part of the eye, choroid layer and the ciliary body. It is richly supplied with blood vessels and provides blood supply to the retina and other parts of the eye.
Intravitreal Injection
Report
Intravitreal injection involves injecting medications directly into the eye for the management of retinal diseases. The most common diseases treated by intravitreal injection include age-related macular degeneration (AMD), macular oedema, diabetic retinopathy and retinal vein occlusion. Intravitreal injection procedure is performed by an ophthalmologist in the doctor's office.
