Always an animal lover, Kellie achieved her qualifications in canine behaviour and training in 2006 and has worked at local obedience clubs and as a groomer ever since. After working in the salon environment, Kellie established Muddy Dogs in 2009 and took her work on the road to reach more of those that needed some special care.
Her qualifications in dog behaviour help her understand and control dogs that do not appreciate the grooming process. She is a firm believer in a very calm and gentle grooming process. Kellie still instructs obedience and conducts behaviour consultations, running grooming workshops and seminars as well as attending some herself to keep her skills and knowledge up to date.
