The Jody Marshall Dance Company has been in operation as one of Perth's foremost dance companies for the past 45 years. Since its establishment in 1976, director Jody Marshall has developed an impressive reputation as one of Perth's longest running dance schools.
With a staff of high calibre teachers, The Jody Marshall Dance Company offers exceptional training in a variety of dance styles including: jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, classical ballet, hip-hop, acrobatics and musical theatre.All teachers have diplomas in all forms of dance.

Established in 1976, Jody Marshall Dance Company (JMDC) has over 40 years of experience teaching students - of all skill levels, from as young as 2 - how to master the art of dance and become star performers. JMDC is conveniently located in Balcatta, only a short 15 minute drive from Perth. Some classes are also held at the Warwick Community Hall for Pre-Schoolers up to 8 years of age.
Jazz

Jazz has the most variety, ranging from Musical theatre, to more modern and then commercial jazz which is to the latest music. Commercial jazz you will see in film clips and movies. In Jazz class we provide a highly structured class which involves stretching, strength, progressions, such as kicks, turns and leaps.
Tap
Report
Tap is a form of dance which is an excellent way to increase coordination, timing, syncopation and rhythm. Tap Dancing is fun. It is noisy but when you learn how to do it properly the rhythms can be fantastic. The old favourite tap dancers are Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, followed by the more modern dancers such as the Tap Dogs who made the movie Bootmen.
Classical Ballet
