Services
Hip Replacement
Total hip replacement and resurfacing procedures address severe joint damage from arthritis or trauma. Our surgeons use advanced implant technology to restore mobility and reduce pain. Patients benefit from pre-operative assessments and post-operative rehabilitation programs tailored to individual needs.
Knee Reconstruction
Comprehensive knee reconstruction addresses ligament damage and cartilage wear through arthroscopic techniques. We specialise in anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) repairs and meniscus restoration. Our approach combines minimally invasive surgery with structured recovery plans for optimal outcomes.
Shoulder Stabilisation
Shoulder stabilisation procedures treat recurrent dislocations and instability issues. Our surgeons perform arthroscopic repairs and labral reconstructions to restore joint integrity. Treatment includes prehabilitation exercises and post-operative physiotherapy for complete recovery.
Arthroscopic Surgery
Minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques diagnose and treat joint problems through small incisions. We use fibre-optic technology for precise interventions with reduced recovery times. This approach applies to various joints including knees, shoulders, and hips.
Sports Injury Treatment
Specialised management of sports-related musculoskeletal injuries covers acute trauma and overuse conditions. Our services include ligament repairs, tendon reconstructions, and return-to-play protocols. Treatment integrates surgical expertise with sports-specific rehabilitation programs.

I found Mr (not even going to refer to as a doctor) sunner to have a complete lack of adequate communication. With a very impersonal and down right rude attitude. I had a consultation for a shoulder operation at Katoomba, and paid a lot of money just to move my shoulder to the left, to be told to get an MRI and come back for another expensive move… your shoulder to the left appointment, when I've already provided x-rays, with no education from him on the matter, just check you in check you out. I will not trust someone who I had an initial bad experience with, to operate on my shoulder.

Thinks his big, the situation doesn’t matter to him as long as his pockets get filled up. He will probably get the job done but not the best to talk too. He was dismissive and doesnt let you finish. Please listen to your patients concerns, just because its in the patients history file doesnt mean you should stop the patients from explaining their concerns properly. Patient centered care doctor!!!

Had a total left knee replacement. My knee remains very bent & Dr Sunner was very dismissive when I voiced my concerns at a follow-up visit to surgery. My GP rang him more recently and didn’t understand his logic; she has just received an OAM for services to medicine, so if she doesn’t get it, how is anyone else suppose to? An arrogant man:-(
