This is less of a review, and more of a public service announcement. I'm sure this riding school is fantastic, but you may want to think twice about booking a lesson with them at the moment, at least until Covid isolation requirements ease given it is EVERYWHERE at the moment. They have a 48 hour cancellation policy (which is 100% fair... unless you suddenly have to isolate because you're a Covid close contact). I was in the position of having to do the right thing by them and inform them I'm a close contact, and the best they could do was credit me back 50% of a lesson. I was then made to feel

Excellent riding school! From the yard hands who have taken the time to teach me and answered all of my questions patiently and knowledgeably on the basics of grooming and prepping the horse, to the amazing instructors I have had (Jacinta and Nichola) who continue to challenge me to be a better rider and no question is silly! If you are looking for a riding school where you feel supported, not judged and have phenomenal staff, facilities and of course patient and well cared for horses (shout out to Alfie), I highly recommend VPRS!

Just started but love the place, the coaches I worked with so far are mix of supper friendly, and supper serious in what they do which is exactly what I am after. Looking forward to have a great start and get to know all the horses around here.

Valley Park Riding School is a fantastic place for novice, intermediate and advanced riders. My Daughter has been attending lessons for a few years now and has always been treated well, learned equine care and grooming as well as had top flight instruction in riding and personally tailored lessons regarding body position and strength development for weaknesses. Every time she hops back in the car she shows signs of having worked hard! Always worth it.

My kids had a terrible trainer. She was rude and mean to them . If you can't work with kids and only love the horses stick to the stables . You really ruined the experience for them great after spending $300 for 1 hour!!
