At Sydney Wildflower Nursery, we do our best to offer you the largest range of Australian native plants. Our Plant List contains over 1200 species of native plants that the nursery has stocked within the past 12 months. Most plants are available year round, however some plants are seasonal and are only stocked at certain times of the year.

Edible Native Plants

Sydney Wildflower Nursery offers a wide selection of native Australian bush foods suited to the Sydney climate. Native edible plants include berries, grass seeds, plant roots, seeds, leaves and flowers. When eating bush foods, care must be taken to identify the plant correctly to ensure the plant is edible and to factor in any preparation required.

These guys are amazing, will go above and beyond to help you find what you need. Will not make you feel awkward especially for someone who has no idea about a specific plant. Delivery was spot on and a smile from a employee who seems to love his job. Great Job Guys. I highly recommend these guys.

Ordered plants over the phone. Friendly staff. Grevilleas difficult to get elsewhere and plenty in stock. Is worth paying more for quality. Tube stock made them cheaper. Plants arrived within the week in good condition. Staff accurately described one as a bit ragged looking which it is, but recovering well.

The best experience I’ve had at a nursery, so worth the 40 minute drive down from Sydney! I was searching for a native tree to plant in honour of my son’s birth. Adam (I believe was his name) was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, talking me through all the options that would suit my needs and answering all my questions.. We found the perfect tree, and thanks to Adam I’m confident it will thrive in its environment. Thank you again!

Friendly and helpful staff. Despite costing more than a certain large retail hardware chain, the quality of the stock here is tip-top. More diverse range of species on offer too. Worth the drive.

Nice nursery ... but don’t expect any service! There over 20 mins Two staff around who were working. No one came near to assist or even acknowledge our presence. Customers ignored trumped by a phone order ... will go elsewhere in future.

Great place to go for buying native plants. They can order in for you if you are after something in particular. Excellent knowledge and very helpful if you have a plant problem. Extensive range, sell native pot mix, planting mix and mulch too. I buy their native fertiliser mix, which my plants seem to like.
