One of the largest aquatic plants specialist nursery in the southern hemisphere offering a wide range of plants suitable for the Australian climate. We have close to 30 years of experience in the water gardening field and has been trading for over 25 years. In 1996, we launched our online mail order service in Australia.
Since then, we have been operating solely as a mail order business. Every now and then we import rare, interesting and new plant materials from around the world into Australia to add to our existing range. We also have our own plant breeding programme, experimenting with the creation of new varieties of waterlilies, lotus and marginal plants.

Hardy Waterlilies
Report
Hardy waterlilies can be grown from cool to warm climates and requires at least 3-4 hours of sunlight per day and flowers between October and April in Australia. Waterlilies will NOT grow well in areas under fast moving or when there is splashing water on their leaves. Should given some fertiliser tablets during their growing months in Spring and Summer to encourage flowering (especially when they are growing in pots).
Lotus
Report
Attractive plants with nasturtium-like leaves ranging from small to large in size. Often regarded as an edible aquatic. However, we do not guarantee the taste of the ornamental cultivars as they are usually bred for the flowers, not for the taste.
Some varieties will require more space to grow and are excellent for planting in stand alone pots or containers (without holes) of at least 300mm diameter (for larger varieties) and 200m diameter for the smaller and bowl lotus varieties. The large species and varieties are also excellent for dam plantings.
