Do you treat private and public patients?
Yes, we treat both private patients at our Belmont rooms and Warners Bay Private Hospital, as well as public patients through our specialist position at John Hunter Hospital.
What are your consultation hours?
Our Belmont rooms are open Monday-Wednesday 9:30am-5:00pm and Thursday-Friday 9:30am-4:30pm. We offer flexible appointment scheduling within these hours.
Are referrals required for appointments?
While referrals are not mandatory, we recommend obtaining a referral from your GP for Medicare coverage and continuity of care purposes.

Dr. Elaine is professional while remaining personable. She explained the mole removal process and aftercare during the consultation. She made sure I was aware of all the things I needed to know before deciding to go through with the mole removal. The procedure was very quick, painless, and I dont know why I didnt do this sooner! I found Dr. Gillaspie while I was in town visiting family. Scheduling the appointment was seamless and I was able to provide all my patient information confidentially prior to my appointment which made the check-in process smooth. The office was friendly and clean. She is very knowledgeable and provided treatment options. The procedure was pain free and quick! Within a week my issues were healing nicely and now not even visible. I highly recommend her practice. My mom will be scheduling a visit for treatment next.

Dr. Gillaspie is a miracle worker. I was told by multiple dermatologists that my sebaceous hyperplasia was not treatable. Dr. Gillaspie has a unique non-laser treatment method, using the Ellman Surgitron, that has worked where no other treatment did. Thank You!

I had some sebaceous hyperplasia "bumps" removed from my face (25 in all) a little less than a year ago. Dr. Gillaspie did a great job and my face was healed and cleared not too long after that. She is a warm, caring person who listens to you. Her support staff is also wonderful. You won't feel rushed or feel that your needs are being overlooked or discounted. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Gillaspie is such a great doctor! I highly recommend her she does an awesome job! I had two huge moles on my face and she recently removed them about 3 weeks ago and now it seems like I had nothing on my face! I loved her work.
