LR Licence to drive a light rigid vehicle

In order to obtain any Heavy Vehicle Licence in NSW, it is the law that you complete a Heavy Vehicle Competency Based Assessment (HVCBA) with an Accredited Training Provider. At Core Driving School we are accredited to provide all aspects of theory and practical training and assessment to ensure you obtain your licence as soon as possible.
MR Medium Rigid Truck Licence

Our medium rigid truck licence course focuses on the key principles of handing a medium rigid truck safely and competently. Our accredited course provides fundamental skills as well as the necessary safety courses for safe operation of MR vehicles and defensive driving skills. The MR licence course is one of our most popular courses and we run them 7 days a week and offer flexible training hours.
HC Heavy Combination Truck Licence

A Heavy Combination Licence is required if you wish to drive trucks with a single trailer, commonly referred to as a "semi-trailer". This includes vehicles such as prime movers, truck and dogs, pig trailers, floats and low loaders. Given the size of these vehicles, it is imperative that drivers have the necessary skills and knowledge to drive them safely.
MC Licence to drive a multi-combination vehicle

An MC Truck Licence, or multi-combination truck licence, covers you to drive vehicles with more than one trailer. This includes B-Double, Road trains, prime movers, low loader dolly and low loader trailer combinations. It is the logical step to obtain your HC Licence and get some on road experience before moving on to you multi-combination licence.
