Our Services
Report
There are unique difficulties in bringing a cat to a veterinary clinic. Cats often feel unsafe and scared away from their home and do not travel well. They are often highly sensitive to new sights, sounds and smells. Most cats prefer quiet and solitude and are very susceptible to stress, particularly when in close proximity to dogs or dog smells and odours.
Dental Care
Report
Probably the most common problem that affects dogs' mouths is gum disease. Starting silently with no obvious signs or symptoms, it advances quickly, causing chronic pain, eroded gums, missing teeth, even bone loss - a fate hardly fair to your four-legged friend. In fact gum disease is so common, studies show over 80% of dogs suffer a stage of gum disease before they are three years old.
Surgery
Report
We offer a wide range of surgical procedures. Surgery to repair fractured bones and repair damaged ligaments and tendons are commonly performed at Hamilton Vetcare. Due to illness, disease or trauma, your pet may one day require surgery.

While potentially stressful (for both you and your pet) there are a few basic guidelines that you can follow that will make the process as complication-free as possible and put your pet on the fast road to recovery.Depending on the type of surgery, whether minor or major, your veterinarian will advise you when your pet can resume his normal lifestyle.
Cat and Dog Desexing
Report
For every person that is born, 15 dogs and 45 cats are born. Pet overpopulation is a big problem. As these statistics show, in order to help keep up with the current flood of puppies and kittens, every person would have to own two dogs and six cats at all times. A household of five would have to harbor 10 dogs and 30 cats! Adoption alone is obviously not the answer.
