PsychCare specialises in the assessments and management of Developmental and Mental Health Disorders for children and young people aged 12 to 25. Dr Syed Shah has over 20 years of experience working as a trusted Child and Youth Psychiatrist in Australia and the UK. He has a special interest in Anxiety and Mood Disorders (including Bipolar Disorder), Eating Disorders, and the diagnosis and management of ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

We offer comprehensive assessment and treatment plans for a range of developmental and mental health disorders. Your GP remains your main doctor responsible for your ongoing care and scripts. We no longer provide routine or ongoing care. We offer diagnostic assessment and treatment plans for Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

You will need a referral from your GP to arrange a Telehealth appointment with our Psychiatrists. Please note that we only see young people aged 12 to 25. PsychCare Services currently Bulk Bills all Telehealth consults that are booked with a valid Medicare number and a GP or Specialist referral. All our appointments are now booked online.
