No appointment needed for standard alterations. Call ahead for ladies' evening wear to confirm dressmaker availability.
What is your turnaround time?
Average one week for complex jobs. Trousers hems can be completed faster depending on workload.
Can you alter wedding dresses?
We specialise in bridesmaid dress alterations but do not work on wedding dresses.
Do you offer measuring services?
Yes, we provide 30+ measurements and photos for $40 to assist with remote suit orders.

Excellent services, and the final product is perfect. Even on the final fitting, Andrew insisted on making alterations to ensure a perfect final product. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend using them

I had picked up a made to measure suit for work a few weeks ago. Andrew and the team at Tailors of Distinction were fantastic. The process was very easy and pain free. Andrew CLEARLY knows what he's talking about and is obviously a master of his craft. He was able to pick out all the pain points I had with other suits just by looking at me! I was very impressed at that. The suit ended up coming out absolutely amazing, looks fantastic, and is easily the most comfortable I've ever worn. I love wearing it and how it makes me feel but most importantly, it fits better than any other suit I have ever

An upcoming wedding; of course the father of the bride (me) and the groom had our suits made at ToD. The staff also helped me choose shirt and tie. The professionalism of the staff was outstanding and I was exceptionally happy with the outcome. However, I got no help at all in writing my speech!

My first visit ever to Tailors of Distinction was on October 1 when I purchased a black suit. I was expertly fitted by Dawn and Andrew. Jacket and trousers required alteration which were promised 5 days later. When I collected the suit Andrew's Sale was on. Subsequently I purchased 4 pants, a jacket and jumper. Amazing value and service !! Very happy with my new wardrobe !! Can highly recommend. Should have visited 20 years earlier !!

Today I picked up two bespoke suits from Tailors of Distinction. These are my second and third such suits Ive purchased from Andrew and his team at Tailors of Distinction. I cannot speak highly enough of the service or the suits. Im not surprised though as my first bespoke suit, Andrew made for me is almost six years and still going strong with almost no signs of wear. In those six years Ive bought cheaper, off the rack suits that Ive since donated to Goodwill because they are worn out or warped. In my view the economics of these suits more than justifies the price and that isnt
