Established in 1953, Helping Hand has a proud history of offering help and support to older South Australians for over 65 years. About us: Helping Hand is a not-for-profit organisation offering help at home, retirement living and residential care to over 7,000 older South Australians in Adelaide and regional South Australia.
We value independence, choice, freedom and quality of care. We enable our clients, carers and their families to live their lives to the full. We make people feel at home; in our residential homes, in their own home and in their workplace. Independence and wellbeing - we believe that wellness is a right and is different for each person.

Retirement Living
Report
Enjoy more time to do the things you love, without having to look after a big home and garden, in our retirement living units. We also take care of water bills, council rates and building insurance. Common areas are looked after by our friendly gardeners, who make sure gardens and pathways are neat and tidy.
Clare
Report
Clare retirement living options across our two villages will suit everyone's taste and budget. Both villages are conveniently located near Helping Hand's Carinya residential care home, and residents living in Essington Mews and Ngadjuri Lodge are welcome to join in some of the home's activities as well as access some of its services.
