Business Details
At WA Football, we take pride in nurturing the game of Australian Rules across Western Australia, connecting communities and fostering a shared passion. As the states governing body for football, we oversee competitions, development programs, and inclusive initiatives to ensure the sport thrives at every level. From grassroots participation to elite pathways, we are committed to making football accessible, enjoyable, and unifying for all. Our role extends beyond the field, as we uphold the integrity of the game through strong governance and community engagement. We manage the licenses for Western Australias two AFL clubs, Fremantle Football Club and West Coast Eagles, while investing in programs that support players, coaches, umpires, and volunteers.
As a not-for-profit organisation guided by a voluntary board, we work tirelessly to grow the game and preserve its values. Whether through Auskick for young children or talent academies for aspiring athletes, we provide opportunities for everyone to get involved. Our vision is simple: football for all Western Australians, regardless of background or ability. We celebrate diversity, support First Nations initiatives, and ensure the game remains a source of joy and connection. Together, we are building a future where football continues to inspire, unite, and strengthen our communities.
