We are a vibrant and ambitious club that is always happy to introduce new players to the game and to other players so everyone can enjoy the game of tennis. We hold weekly social and competition tennis for adults and juniors on our grass, hard, and clay courts at both our Mt Claremont and Campus courts.
Anyone can join, bring some friends and have some fun! The University of Western Australia Tennis Club (UWA TC) is the oldest UWA Sporting club, having been established in 1914. The Club has been one of the most successful WALTA and Tennis West Clubs having won 4 A grade and State Grade premierships, between 1971/72 and 2002/2003.

Organised sets with racquets and balls are provided and soft drinks are available to buy. Come and have a hit on our grass or red clay courts and for some off-court fun with friends and family, lawn and board games are available to play too. The bar is open from 5pm, with bar snacks available and the music playing over the courts in our lovely bush setting!

Please note that to play Summer League for UWA TC, you must be a paid-up financial member. UWA Tennis Club has a proud competitive history having won 4 A grade and State Grade premierships, between 1971/72 and 2002/2003. We offer a range of Leagues for both Adults & Juniors so if you'd like to know more do get in touch.

Court Hire

Telephone bookings are also accepted by calling UWA Sport on 6488 2286. After use the court needs to be dragged with the provided mats, to ensure a smooth playing surface for next users to be enjoyed. Please follow the diagram on the left. If all court users adhere to these points, we can make use of these great courts at their optimal condition for some time to come!
