Accreditation

PresCare prides itself on meeting or exceeding industry standards to deliver excellence in all we do. We recognise accreditation is paramount in promoting quality, safety, best practice and superior outcomes for our clients. Accreditation involves periodic audits, as well as unannounced visits to monitor continuing compliance with standards set by the Industry Group - Australian Aged Care Quality Agency, an independent body.

As a Ministry of the Presbyterian Church of Queensland, PresCare is governed by the General Assembly of the church, a group which comprises church ministers and elders from across Queensland.
A dedicated board, working with a highly skilled management team, is charged with delivering on the mission and vision as outlined in PresCare's constitution: "to provide aged and/or health care and community services to the public irrespective of religious beliefs in a manner which best serves the needs of the community".The PCQ appoints PresCare Board Members, all of whom are ministers or members of the church, for a three-year term.
