We cater for a broad range of health care needs from day surgery procedures through to highly complex surgery. The 192 bed private hospital is co-located with Westmead Hospital and Westmead Children's Hospital and is a teaching hospital of the Western Clinical School of the University of Sydney.

Westmead Private Hospital was built by Alpha Health Care in 1999. The hospital is still owned by Ramsay Health Care, a publicly-listed Australian company whose name is synonymous with quality in private health care. Westmead Private Hospital operates on Eora country. We acknowledge the Darug people as the traditional custodians of the Westmead region and pay our respects to Elders past and present.
