We welcome you to use our beautiful, spacious, chapel, which will seat 200 or more of your family and friends. Our cleverly designed foyer area enables your friends to be able to congregate prior to the service in comfort. And should it need to be used as an overflow area, during the service, they will be warm, dry, and be able to see and hear everything.

I have been fascinated with funerals and cemeteries even as a small child. But it wasn't until my second son died (of SIDS) that I began to read material about the grieving process, to understand this terrible journey. Out of this grew the desire to be a funeral director who had a first-hand, in-depth understanding of the pain bereaved people face, and provide excellent service while showing compassion.

It is important to me that a funeral reflects who the person was and is conducted in a manner that is true to them. This may be solemn, plain and simple, elaborate or a joyous celebration of life.

At Parkside Funerals, we believe that it's never too early to pre-arrange your funeral. Sometimes this may take the form of just telling someone who is close to you what your wishes are. More often than not, though, it's difficult to discuss our own funeral with a close relative or friend.
So we offer the option of spending some time with you, either in the privacy of your own home, or your are welcome to visit our beautiful, new funeral home, listening to your needs, presenting options, suggesting alternatives and helping you finalise your choice.We have brochures available, which present a wide range of options for creating a meaningful, unique funeral.
