From the moment you walk through the door, you will have our undevided attention from our Dispenser, onto our Orthoptist Megan, and then finally into the Optometrist, Kerin, for the final part of your visit. Optopia is home to modern diagnostic tools and equipment that is used to test for a wide range of eye conditions - cataracts, macular degeneration and glaucoma amongst other conditions.

Optical Frames

Prevent your glasses from becoming loose by always using two hands to put them on and take them off. If your glasses need any adjustment, our optical assistant will be happy to do this for you. Clean your glasses every day using cool water and liquid hand wash. Rinse with clean water and then dry with a soft towel or lens cleaning cloth.
Eye Care

Astigmatism is a focusing error caused by a variation in the shape of the front of your eye. Again, this can be easily corrected with glasses or contact lenses. Amblyopia is also sometimes known as 'lazy eye' and means that the vision from one eye is not sending effective messages to the brain. Untreated amblyopia in children can lead to permanent vision problems.
