Katherine Overs and Alex Wellington, are proud of the Mildura Veterinary Hospital history, being the oldest established veterinary hospital in Mildura. MVH was established in 1968, with the original practice located opposite the old Mildura Base Hospital.
MVH moved to its current location, 370 Deakin Avenue Mildura, in 1977 as a purpose-built facility which became the very first accredited (Australian Small Animal Veterinary Association) small animal hospital.MVH has undergone two major renovations since, with further renovation and expansion plans in the very near future.

Allergies don't affect just people-pets can get them too. The staff at Mildura Veterinary Hospital is well qualified to treat any cat or dog skin care problems your pet might have. Our grooming services are available Monday to Thursday by appointment with our qualified grooming staff. The size of your animal determines the fees that are charged.

Mildura Veterinary Hospital is an accredited teaching hospital with the Universities of Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney, and regularly hosts Veterinary students for their clinical placements. We are also an accredited "New Graduate Friendly Practice" and welcome graduating Veterinarians to start their careers here, ensuring a high level of support and ongoing education.

Allergies don't affect just people-pets can get them too. The staff at Mildura Veterinary Hospital is well qualified to treat any cat or dog skin care problems your pet might have. Cat and dog allergies fall into four main categories: environmental and inhalant allergy (atopy); biting insect allergy, usually flea allergy dermatitis (FAD); and food allergy.
Blood Tests

Our pets are not able to tell us if they feel unwell. They can't tell us if a fatty meal makes them feel nauseous or if they are in pain. We do recommend annual health checks. Even a thorough physical exam is not always enough. We do need to know how our pet's organs are functioning. The only way to accurately do this is with blood tests, which help to diagnose any illness or problems with your pet.
