Wentworth Tennis is an Eastern Suburbs Tennis and Fitness coaching business based at Trumper Park Tennis Centre Paddington, which was formerly known as "The Palms". We Cater for all age brackets, running programs for children and adults, school programs and more throughout the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.
The centre is also only 10 minutes drive from the Sydney CBD, is adjacent to the iconic Lord Dudley Hotel and just a 5 minute walk from Edgecliff train station. Our coaches can teach all the technical and tactical fundamentals of the game of tennis in a safe and fun environment. All group lessons are booked by the term and are held rain, hail or shine. Kids groups run daily from 3pm Monday-Friday and Saturday mornings. Group classes have a maximum of 6 per class.
Squads
Report
We have decided it is time to offer some squad lessons that cater to the players involved in competitive tennis teams. The program is designed to optimise the improvement of the players, motivate them and build their confidence. The sessions run for 2 hours and coach Santiago Prieto runs the classes.
Schools
Report
Professional coaches from Wentworth Tennis regularly attend various schools around the local area to deliver classes. Wentworth Tennis Director Stephen Day runs the tennis program at Waverley College senior school on Birrell St Waverley. CAS team trainings from year 7 up to Opens.
Saturday matches are against the following schools, St Aloysius, Barker College, Cranbrook School, Knox Grammar School, Trinity Grammar School and other schools on an informal basis also.The Waverley College junior school team train and play during the summer months. Saturday matches are played against schools including St Patricks College, Sydney Grammar, Riverview, The Kings School, The Scots College and Shore.
