Reading and Writing Programs

The Helipad is here to help! Our reading and writing programs are suitable for every child, because our programs are individualised based on your child's needs. All of our programs have been carefully designed by combining our speech pathology knowledge with the principles of how children learn. You may also be eligible to receive a Medicare rebate of $53.80 for 5x speech pathology sessions if you have a referral from your GP.
Cooking & Craft Book Club
Report
The Cooking & Craft Book Club is a school readiness program designed for 4-5 year olds. We do have some children who start younger and also some children who continue attending even once they have started school. Each session is themed around a book of the week. At the beginning of the session, the book is introduced and read to the children.
Speech Pathology
Report
The Helipad offers speech pathology services to children aged between 2 years to 18 years of age. Unfortunately we are not able to provide services to children who stutter, have trouble swallowing or have voice problems, as these are not our areas of expertise! If your child is stuttering, we recommend finding a speech pathology clinic who offers the Lidcombe program.
