Victoria Harbour Medical Centre has a dedicated team of male and female General Practitioners available for consultation who are supported by an enthusiastic and friendly nursing and administrative team. All doctors at Victoria Harbour Medical Centre are vocationally trained and accredited general practitioners (GPs) and Fellows of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

Away from work he has 3 teenage children who keep him busy, and interests in all sports, but particularly golf and following Essendon. After graduating from The University of Melbourne in 2004, Kirsten pursued an interest in paediatrics, working at The Royal Children's Hospital and attaining a Diploma in Child Health.

All equipment is sterile or single use and maintained according to strict infection control guidelines to prevent cross infection. We stock and administer all routine schedule of vaccines which are provided free under the National Immunisation Program and the Victorian funded immunisation program. This includes vaccines provided for children, adolescents and adults at increased risk of vaccine preventable disease.

Our treatment room is equipped to offer a range of procedures such as spirometry (lung function testing), ambulatory blood pressure and holter monitoring, Ferinject iron infusions, Implanon, Mirena and Copper IUD female contraceptive insertion and removal, suture of lacerations, skin biopsies, skin cancer and lesion removal, joint steroid injections, plaster cast application and removal, ECGs and blood/pathology collection.
HIV Medicine s100

GPs Dr Christopher Kearney and Dr Damien Polioudakis are accredited s100 HIV community prescribers. This means they are authorised to prescribe highly specialised HIV medication called antiretroviral therapy (ART). Both have advanced training and experience in providing care to people at risk of HIV or people living with HIV (PLHIV).

Dr Kirsten Scott, Dr Jane Karmouche, Dr Gillian Porter and Dr Tina Ling are accredited Shared Maternity Care Affiliates who work in collaboration with The Royal Women's Hospital, Mercy Health, Western Health, Werribee Mercy for Women and Northern Health. Shared maternity care is a popular option of care for healthy women with a normal pregnancy.

Our Doctors and Practice Nurse can help you or your family diagnose and manage a range of respiratory disorders, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or any other conditions that affect breathing. Typically disorders are diagnosed and managed using Spirometry, a common test that measures how effectively you can move air in and out of your lungs.
