Lawn Preparation is a key aspect of the new turf installation. It involves spraying out and removal of all weeds and old grasses from the lawn, excavation and removal of any rubble and debris, bringing in the required top soil, and levelling and grading the area for the drainage requirements, and spreading fertiliser and water crystals before the installation of the turf.

We can look after all or just individual stages of Turf construction which may include: Consulting, Sub grade preparation, GPS or Laser levelling, drainage systems, cultivation, amendments, growing medium supply and placement, supply and installation of turf, and maintenance. We worked closely with Hancey's Turf on the construction of Samford Football Precinct.

Palmetto Premium Turf $11.50

Palmetto Buffalo Grass is a tough, soft leaf Buffalo that is suitable for home lawns and commercial areas throughout South-East Queensland. This turf provides a lawn grass that has excellent winter colour, and can generally out compete weeds when established. Palmetto Buffalo Grass generally requires less watering and less mowing than most other turf varieties available in Instant turf rolls or slabs.

Empire Zoysia Grass $11.50

EMPIRE Turf thrives in South-East Queensland. It has a relatively fine leaf which is soft to touch, excellent wear tolerance and thrives in extreme heat and humidity. EMPIRE is good in the sun and light shade, it keeps a good winter colour and it can generally outcompete the weeds once established.

Wintergreen Turf Couch $5.50

Wintergeen is a fine leaf hybrid green couch. Wintergreen is a economical option for full sun lawns suitable for home lawns, commercial landscapes and sporting surfaces. It is the most popular green couch grown and sold in Australia. For a manicure and well maintained lawn we do recommend a yearly de-thatch, aerate and top dress on Wintergreen.
