Essex Heights Juniors Early Learning & Child Care Centre

At Essex Heights Juniors, we cater for the needs of the children in our care by placing them into classes according to their ages, development, readiness and availability. This room caters for our youngest children aged from 1 to 2 years. There are 10 children nurtured and educated in this room which has direct access to the outdoors.

Essex Heights Juniors has been architecturally designed exclusively for the care and education of children. It has purpose built facilities beyond those required by regulations stimulating the children's interests and caring for them in a safe, clean, well maintained environment.

Age appropriate, indoor and outdoor equipment that is well maintained and in good condition enhances children's development and the indoor areas are spacious, climate controlled and provide ample natural lighting to the beautifully presented children's rooms.The outdoor areas have a combination of natural shade provided by many large trees in the facility as well as undercover areas that assist in providing great indoor/outdoor programs.

At Essex Heights Juniors, we understand the significance of nutrition and how it influences a child's growth, activity, intellectual and emotional development. We, therefore, acknowledge the importance of encouraging healthy eating habits from an early age and provide a nutritionally balanced menu to be offered in a supportive eating environment.

Services covered by the National Quality Framework have been assessed and rated against the seven Quality Areas of the National Quality Standard and the Education and Care Services National Regulations. The assessment and rating process aims to drive continuous quality improvement for services and provide families with better information for making choices about their children's education and care.
