We also have a small animal branch in Emu Park and a dedicated large animal surgical facility in Rockhampton. Our clinic has been steadily growing and currently offers the expertise and service of five veterinarians and five nurses across our three different locations.

Paul graduated from the University of Cambridge in England in 1990. Since graduating Paul has worked in various mixed practices both overseas and in Australia. Paul purchased the Acacia Veterinary Surgery in 1999 and now specialises in all aspects of equine veterinary care, but still enjoys his weekend work with small animals.
Large Animals

We have two mobile large animal vets and can travel to most places including Yeppoon, Rockhampton, Emu Park, Alton Downs, Gracemere and surrounding areas. If you have any questions or would like to make an appointment to see one of our large animal vets call us and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Small Animals

This is a requirement by law. It is also a great way to ensure that if your pet is ever lost, we will be able to contact you. We have the latest surgical equipment to perform soft tissue surgery to repair wounds or injuries, remove lumps, bumps and skin tumours. We can correct entropian/ectropian (rolled in/out eye lids), address emergencies such as hit by car, caesarean section, intestinal blockages and bladder stones.
