Services
Paediatric Foot Diagnosis
Comprehensive biomechanical assessment for children's foot and posture development issues. Our expert evaluation identifies functional alignment problems and neurological patterns affecting gait. Early diagnosis enables targeted interventions that address the root causes of walking abnormalities and balance issues in young patients.
Custom Orthotics
Specialist orthotic design and manufacture for children's foot conditions. Our Duvtale orthotic device improves proprioceptive feedback in hypermobile joints. Custom-moulded insoles help correct gait patterns and provide stability for developing feet, with adjustments made as children grow.
Splint Design
Tailored splinting solutions for structural foot deformities. We create night splints and corrective devices for conditions like metatarsus adductus and talipes calcaneo valgus. Our splints help maintain proper foot positioning during development and sleep.
Rehabilitation Programs
Targeted exercise programs to improve gross motor skills and balance. Age-appropriate activities challenge postural control systems while developing coordination. Our rehabilitation focuses on retraining muscle patterns and enhancing sensory integration for better movement control.
Gait Analysis
Detailed evaluation of walking mechanics to identify abnormalities. We analyse foot positioning, balance strategies, and muscle activation patterns. This assessment informs treatment plans for conditions like in-toeing, out-toeing, and tip-toe walking.

Questions
When should I be concerned about my child's walking pattern?
Seek assessment if your child consistently walks pigeon-toed, on tiptoes, or with feet turned out after age 2.5 years, or if they experience frequent tripping without apparent cause.
What's the difference between flat feet and functional flat feet?
Functional flat feet appear normal when non-weight bearing but collapse during standing. This indicates joint hypermobility rather than structural deformity and requires specialist assessment.
Are 'growing pains' a real condition?
No, persistent leg pain in children isn't normal growth-related. Pain lasting more than 2 days requires investigation to identify biomechanical or neurological causes affecting posture and movement.
How do orthotics help children with hypermobile joints?
Custom orthotics improve proprioceptive feedback to the brain, helping correct compensatory muscle patterns. They provide stability for weight-bearing joints and promote proper alignment during development.
What's the best approach for treating in-toeing?
Effective treatment requires identifying whether the issue originates in the hips, legs, or feet. We use a combination of orthotics, splints, and targeted exercises to address the specific cause of in-toeing.
Can children outgrow foot alignment problems?
Most structural foot issues don't resolve spontaneously. Early intervention is crucial as muscle patterns become established by age 8. Delayed treatment can lead to chronic pain and mobility limitations.

I took my son for a consultation at this practice. It was the worst medical advisory experience of my life. After asking pointed questions the lead practitioner proceeded to ask me to sign a form stating that I was denying my son proper medical care by refusing his treatment regime (boots, etc). We have since moved back to Boston and received proper world class advice from Boston's Children's Hospital - where two specialist doctors found his advice to be I'll informed, poor and unreasonable. Stay away from this place at all cost!

Incredibly rude doctor who has a sign that says: violent behavior is not acceptable. This says it all. We pushed back on his recommendation after seeking second and third opinions and were asked to leave and never come back. He refused to see my son again. Apparently questions and parental concerns are not allowed. I should add that we got a 4th and 5th opinion in Bostons Childrens Hospital (world class doctors) and they were also opposed to his recommendations. We did not report him to Australian authorities or medical organizations because we moved out of the country shortly after.

Absolutely disgraceful treatment. Incredibly late and rude. Insisted I drive my 5yo to public toilets with no parking 1km away. Never use this service. I can't believe it caters for children with this attitude.
