Golden Beach Medical Centre
Dr Sharleen Bowes graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2016. She was born in Southport, Gold Coast and grew up in the Gold Coast hinterland. Dr Bowes worked in Tuberculosis research in London for two years before deciding on a career in medicine. Sharleen then worked at the Austin Hospital, Ballarat Base Hospital, Warrnambool Base Hospital and at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital before coming to Golden Beach.

Sharleen enjoys spending time with her rescue dog and exploring the wonderful national parks, beaches and cafes around the Sunshine Coast. Dr Geoff Bennett, originally from Brisbane, worked and trained at a number of rural and regional locations around Queensland before joining Golden Beach Medical Centre in 2009.

Drugs of Addiction Prescribing Policy - The Doctors at Golden Beach Medical Centre will not prescribe Drugs of Addiction or Schedule 8 Drugs to new patients at their first appointment.For existing patients requesting Drugs of Addiction or Schedule 8 Drugs a consultation is required with your regular doctor.
45-49 Year Old Health Checks

The federal government has recently introduced a new health check. It is for everyone aged between 45 and 49 who may be at risk of developing a health complaint, like diabetes or heart problems.
