I graduated from the University of Newcastle in NSW with a Bachelor of Podiatry in 2009. Prior to this I spent 9 years working extensively as an Orthotic Technician. The experience manufacturing orthotics in both large scale orthotic laboratories and private practice has developed my expertise in the prescription, fabrication and patient fitting of orthotic devices.

Coolum Podiatry Solutions proudly supports "Shoes for Planet Earth", a charity that relies on community and company support to provide recycled running shoes to those in need around the world. We are always collecting joggers / running shoes that are then passed onto a local community group in need.
Health Fund / Medicare Rebates

If you are covered for Podiatry under your private health fund's Extras cover, we can process your claim on the spot through our HICAPS facility. A GP referral (D904) is required for Gold and White card members prior to your appointment. Patients referred for podiatry care by their Doctor under a Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan are eligible for a rebate by Medicare.

If you have an ingrown toenail that repeatedly gets infected or is continually painful and inhibits your ability to wear footwear comfortably, then a permanent procedure to remove a section of the toenail may be recommended.The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic so is virtually painless.
