At Lagoon Medical Centre, we are passionate about providing a service which allows our patients to prioritise their health, and in doing so we bulk-bill patients with a valid Medicare Card. Services that are not covered by Medicare include Worker's Compensation claims, Pre-Employment Medicals and Driver's License Fitness to Drive medicals.
Appointments

Lagoon Medical Centre provides medical consultations both by appointment and by walk-in. No appointment is necessary to see one of our GPs. We will endeavour to make the appointment with your preferred doctor at a time that suits you. Our practice operates on an appointment system, but urgent/emergency cases will always been seen as a priority.

I only give one star for time efficiency. I've visited here a few times during my break and always ended up waiting at least 20 min for my 5 min appointment, I even had one appointment waited for almost an hour. Today I still waited for 30 min when there was only one patient ahead of me.....
Came back for another review, DR Anwar is amazing and I would rate her with 5 stars, I wouldn't visit the practice again if she doesn't work here!

I have been coming here for a few years now and find Bridget to be very helpful and kind in all aspects of her position. It’s never a problem to fix a problem if one arises.
The receptionist are all very nice with a warm welcome
I see Dr George for all my medical problems he goes above and beyond to help me with my chronic pain, depression and any other medical issues I have. He takes his time and never seems to rush his patients
Having a X-ray and radiology department next door is a bonus as well

Fantastic surgery.
Doctors, nurses & staff are always friendly and know you by name.
They treat you like you’re one of their family.
Very professional.
It’s great that they bulk bill too.
Only negative thing I can say is they need more than one female doctor.
Dr Anwar is not everyone’s cup of tea.
Would also like to say that all the medical professionals and their teams within the complex from Radiology, pathology, physio and even the Chemist are amazing to deal with. Thanks 😀

Doctor George is great. A wonderful family doctor who is always willing to listen to all my concerns and makes you feel as though he has all the time in the world.
The surgery is clean and has a friendly nursing team in the clinic. With the additional services of radiology and pathology i would highly recommend the centre to anyone.

I am so happy and pleased with this practice! The receptionists Suzie and Bridget is the best, there personalities is amazing. They make you feel so welcome and part of this practice. My doctor is Dr. Mohammed and he is great, but all the other doctors in the practice is the same, always friendly and helpful. This is one amazing centre. Doctors,chemist and radiologist all just great!
