The beaches of Coolangatta have some of the Gold Coast's best surfing conditions and most picturesque scenery. Greenmount Beach and Rainbow Bay are the Gold Coast's only North facing beaches providing sheltered conditions for swimming. A walk around the point to Snapper Rocks improves your chances of seeing the whales on their annual migration throughout the cooler parts of the year.

Coolangatta really is the family friendly part of the Gold Coast. There are plenty of walking tracks, swimming and fishing spots, surf beaches, pubs, clubs and restaurants / cafes galore. All our Rainbow Bay Apartments have North facing full private balconies, ideal for relaxing on, with stunning ocean and beach views to World Famous Surf Breaks, Snapper Rock and The Super Bank. Please contact reception 2 days before arrival, to be given instructions on check in procedure. Linen is provided, and for stays of 9 days or more apartments are serviced with fresh linen, which is included in the tariff.
