One of my favorite hostel! Not big but u feel warm and cozy around. Even for staff and guests. Breakfast have hot dish option was my very first experience in a hostel. May a bit far from other places or restaurant tho. Still would like to stay here again. :)

Simply put this is the best shared accommodation/lodge I have stayed at. The staff and other guests were amazing and our time there really made our trip special. It felt like I was staying at a friend's place. You don't feel like just another guest, the staff really go above and beyond what you would expect from them. The only down side was the weak WiFi signal in some areas of the lodge, it made calling home in my room difficult. But that is the only negative I have of the place, and it was only minor inconvenience.

I stayed here with a mate in late december 2018, was absolutely amazing. The staff are 12/10, the whole lodge is so comfy I'd like to move in there permanently. If you want a genuine lodge, with a great atmosphere, location and staff then this is the place for you!

For someone that has spent a lot of time at the Owl, I can say with conviction that this is a very happy place. Cozy, warm, friendly, and affordable. Walking distance to the ski lifts, but they drive you anyway! Such nice people. Warm. Clean. Good HOT breakfast. I love this place.

Great people that run the place, good vibe there with the other guests, it's a small place but that is part of the charm. I'd definitely stay here again.
