What does all this mean? Well, when we devise a treatment plan for a pet, we may recommend some familiar treatments such as a dental clean, and some not so familiar, such as a diet overhaul. We may prescribe all sorts of unusual medicines, like homeopathic remedies, Chinese herbal powders, Western herbal tinctures, essential oil blends, and nutritional supplements.

Our support team consists of these delightful humans: Amanda, Tammy, Emma, Eliza, Tristan, Katarina, Bec, Veronika, Sophie & Chenoa - all experienced holistic veterinary nurses, as well as our receptionists Sara, Adelle and our Saturday junior Skye.
Our Wildlife Warrior and most loyal and long-term staff member, Amanda shares her home with three noisy and idiosyncratic Conure parrots and two Burmese cats, and enjoys walking in nature and bird spotting. She would love to live a quiet life in the country with a house full of parrots, cats and native plants.

As a mother of three kids myself, I understand that when you take time off to have your babies and watch them grow, it can be hard transitioning back into vet practice. You are probably convinced if you go back to work you will NEVER get out on time to pick up the kids. Yep, it's worth it.
Not only because you will keep your skills by getting back on the wagon, but because you will be a happier parent if you are satisfied professionally and personally. When I was pregnant with my third bubba, I used to drive over an hour to work once a week, just so I could have 'a day off'! A day void of wrangling two kids when heavily pregnant with another was so luxurious.

We strive to make a difference not only in the lives of every pet we see, but further afield in our community. In 2018 Farm Animal Rescue in Dayboro received $770, which was 100% of proceeds from our eBook sales. Farm Animal Rescue is located in the Pine Rivers district 45 minutes north of the Brisbane CBD.
