I don't think I ever really appreciated the quality of the green complexes at Woodlands Golf Club. I don't think there are a set of greens in Australia better in terms of their design and variation, they all sit differently in their perspective.

The Women's Interclub season kicked off on Monday with five of our ladies taking on the best Commonwealth GC had to offer on a picture perfect day at Cheltenham Golf. Sunshine and barely a gust of wind greeted our Thursday players to the annual swap day at Southern Golf Club, although some of our members carelessly turned up at Woodlands.

Woodlands Golf Club is a private golf club restricted to members, however green fee play is available for Guests upon application. Please contact our Director of Golf Ethan Cowden via email golf_manager@woodlandsgolf.com.au to request a tee time. All players are required to produce a Letter of Introduction from their home club.

Our professional coaching staff are available to put you on the right path. Golf lessons are available seven days a week with our Teaching Professionals; Steve Horstmann, Ben Bunny, Nathan Condon and Cat Odgers. Shaun Menner, the club's Golf Fitness Professional is also available most days.

The event is the unique to Woodlands and Victorian golf - designed to encourage young girls who are still relatively new to the game, to meet with other similar age players and manage themselves around the golf course. Morgan Thomas of Commonwealth Golf Club held her nerve with a magnificent putt for par on the Shootout hole to win the event for a second year in a row.
