Jaw Physio
Book 2 appointments in the first week, and 2 appointments the following week, or as close to this as your schedule allows. One appointment is not enough. The 4 treatments compound into a bigger effect and we need that time to get on top of all of your triggers. I believe in open and honest conversations.

If the treatment is not working for you appointments can be cancelled. Please try not to reschedule multiple times as it stops other clients getting in and appointments are in demand. Physiotherapists, Dentists and GP's can now refer for MRI's of your TMJ's if necessary. It is cheaper if an Oral Facial Surgeon, refers you for an MRI.

The Team
Report
Leigh has firsthand experience of crippling pain which motivated her to find techniques that worked. As a chronic pain sufferer of endometriosis, fibromyalgia, IBS and chronic fatigue, Leigh has used her skillset and extensive knowledge to reduce her own 30 years of 7/10 pain to 2/10, with no jaw pain and headaches!
Headaches
Report
Headaches - just headaches, or with migraines, or from neck pain, or as your jaw pain gets worse - we treat them all. The myofascial headache (tension headache) is a lot more prevalent than previously thought. Especially when associated with TMJ disorders, bruxism and cervicogenic headaches. People with headaches do not often present with one simple musculoskeletal source.
Women's Health & Anxiety
Report
Leigh has suffered for over 30 years with 7/10 pain due to severe Endometriosis, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue and IBS (explosive, passing out on the toilet regularly non lady like behaviour!). And at the age of 38 (2014) she was ready to die, because she couldn't handle the pain any longer.

After seeing every specialist in Perth and London, Leigh found an amazing nutritionist/natropath, bio identic Progesterone, and she started psychotherapy with Buddhist Philosophy with Angela Hyrniuk and her pain is now 2-4/10 and hasn't had IBS for 4 years now.All physical conditions/injuries have a psychological component.
Bruxism & Sleep Splints
Report
Bruxism is the grinding or gnashing of the teeth for no apparent reason during the day time, usually semi-voluntary movement of the lower jaw. Grinding is usually your front teeth and will show signs of wear. Sleep Bruxism is an involuntary motor activity during sleep associated with tooth grinding and often leads to problems with the jaw, neck and headaches.
Kids & Clenching
Report
Clients have started asking me for advice on their children. The more they learn about their headaches and jaw pain, the more they notice their children have the same sort of symptoms. Such as breathing issues or noisy breathing, constant allergies, tummy pain (which is the juvenile version of an adult headache), loud grinding at night in their sleep etc.
