Running for over 14 years, Marie has personally nurtured Elite Podiatry to be Perth's premier Sport and Family podiatry practice despite her co-founding and co-inventing the global orthotic Synxsole where she appeared on Channel 10's hit TV show Shark Tank and struck a deal with Shark, Andrew Banks.

Yes but only if you have been referred by your doctor to us on an EPC (Enhanced Primary Care) or TCA (Team Care Arrangement) plans. If eligible, you are able to claim up to FIVE Medicare rebates per calendar year. Once the care plan has been organised and billed by your doctor, you are immediately eligible.

Orthotics and insoles are regularly used to provide pain relief by correcting any abnormality in your biomechanics, this in turn helps to reduce overuse and stress to your muscles and joints.

Marie Ishak has over 10 years of experience in visual biomechanical analysis and have completed a significant number of advanced biomechanical courses. Due to this, we are extremely confident and accurate in our assessment. We also use a range of tests and assessment of footwear patterns to complete a thorough analysis of your gait.

It is vital that you have the correct fitting and style of footwear for your chosen activity. At Elite Podiatry we demonstrate and advise you on the best features to look for in a good shoe and customise our advice according to your foot type and biomechanics. Please bring in a selection of shoes with you on your first visit as the wear patterns on your shoes can tell us a lot about your biomechanics and any dysfunction that might exist.
