needs serious deep clean and renovation, most rooms are good for a family stay but not fit for couples. The beds (especially bunks) needed to be renovated. Housekeeping does good for cleaning it’s just general stuff that needs to be cleaned.

Cons: The apartment cleanliness was questionable, the couch was stained and had cigarette marks. There were numerous spider webs across the apartment. There was a screw on the bathroom floor which we then discovered was for the toilet seat as the seat was very loose.
Placed a Do not disturb sign and they still came in.
Lastly, we were charged for mini bar items that we did not eat. Have tried numerous times to communicate to the hotel that nothing was consumed however they haven't made effort to respond or refund the money.
Please be wary of this place. Look elsewhere.

USED BIBLES AS A BED STAND AND THE RUDEST STAFF!

My partner booked a one night stay for us here on Saturday 1st Jan. He has stayed here before and said it was good.
The check in process was standard and the young man was nice enough. We went to our room and saw that the bed was leaning down on the left head corner and noticed the wheel was missing. I went down to let the guy know and to see if this can be fixed or another room could be arranged for us. I was served by a bigger lady with dark hair instead who said they were filled booked so she couldn’t

Firstly, I've stayed here a couple of years ago in peak snow season and this place was quite good.
After recently staying there in summer I'll never be back and for this reason.
The lady on reception abused my partner and myself for asking for a partial refund due to the bed missing wheels which therefor made the bed crooked and ridiculous to sleep on.
She had the young gentleman behind the counter fix the problem by using 3 x bible's to chock the bed up. This in her opinion made the issue resolved.
I wouldn't mind if the place was $100 a night but the room was $267.00 for the night.

I booked here pre covid for a wedding and still haven't been able to attend due to lockdowns and restrictions. They keep moving my booking date but refuse any kind of refund. Last year they were impossible to… get in contact with through phone and email, and this year have responded via email but with a blanket no on any refunds. I wouldn't book here again, and definitely not with the uncertainty of the pandemic. Book with Thredbo village resort instead, they will at least refund if you can't attend due to covid.

Whilst I have not had the opportunity to stay at The Alpine Gables, as a result of COVID we had to cancel our holiday at the snow. Sadly out of five different parties, only The Alpine Gables chose to not allow a refund and overall were very unresponsive, completely lacking in a customer centric attitude.

DO NOT BOOK WITH AIR BNB host is unresponsive, cancellation policy is completely unreasonable, and when we could not go on our trip due to lockdown they would not offer a refund, & the gift certificate we were issued was for $600 less than what we actually paid and our efforts to contact them to get the amount changed to what we actually paid have been ignored. Absolutely disgraceful

When deciding to book we opted for the fully renovated room as we thought we would treat ourselves after a long drive with the kids.
On arrival, we were shocked at the quality of the so-called fully renovated… room. Below is a list of some of the things we came across in our room.
-light switches falling apart -both bedside walls mounted lamps coming off the wall where kids could fit fingers behind to exposed wiring. ( we had to keep them away from this area ) -Dirty walls, stair handrails -kitchen light flickering -exposed wires (not sure if live) -shower was disgustingly dirty. - Very

Disappointed, booked a loft with balcony and was downgraded without being told but the price did not change until challenged about the booking. Room given was very run down, broken towel rails, mould in the bath/shower, bed was particularly bad, dipped in the middle. Would only give a rating of 2 out of 5

My family and I stayed here in a family apartment which include two sets of bunks and a double bed. Room itself was functional and spacious. There were plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery for use during our stay.
There is a large amount of car parking onsite, we never had a problem finding a spot regardless of when we arrived.
The open and common spaces of the apartments are inviting, with chairs and a fire for winter.
Some gripes from me however. We plugged one of our phones into the wall socket and there was a horrible cracking sound (we reported this to maintenance but did not recheck.
