Certified wedding venue offering exclusive use of 200 acres for ceremonies and receptions. Choose from forest settings, grassy slopes, or indoor spaces with capacity for up to 120 guests. Includes accommodation for 60+ guests across cottages and campgrounds with flexible DIY options.

Bushwalks

Explore diverse terrains from rainforest valleys to hilltop vistas along Aquila Creek. Discover waterfalls, fern gullies, and wildlife habitats across 200 acres. Guided and self-guided walks cater to all fitness levels with safety precautions for remote areas.

Camping

Rainforest campground with three cabin-tents and six tent sites beside Aquila Creek. Facilities include shared showers/toilets and no power access. Requires 4WD/AWD vehicles for access while immersing guests in natural surroundings.

Conferences

Corporate retreats combine nature immersion with modern facilities for up to 34 guests. Includes lodge/hall complex with AV equipment, breakout spaces, and team-building activities. Located two hours from Melbourne with Otway Ranges as a backdrop for productivity.

We had a lovely stay at King Parrot and would highlight recommend it. It is such a beautiful, relaxing and peaceful place. Plenty of entertainment for the kids with a bushwalk to a waterfall, the pool, animals, and a games room. The Mannagum cabin was perfect for ours and another family we shared with. We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed the location, the cottage, the view, yabby catching plus the staff were amazing! Great we could take our dog with us. There were many small touches we appreciated. My son loved the wide variety of games and movies (from reception) plus the lovely King Parrots. Definitely a place we will return to.

The perfect long weekend accomodation nestled amongst nature. We thoroughly enjoyed four nights in the Windmill Cottage with our pups. We found the accomodation to be very clean and tidy with great, modern amenities. It was lovely to start the day on the balcony with a cup of tea before exploring the grounds, including bush walks and getting to know the animals. We also enjoyed lighting the fireplace and snuggling up with a glass of wine. I would certainly recommend staying at King Parrot and look forward to visiting again.

What a magnificent location. Beautiful cottages, superb bushwalking. A bird watchers' paradise (saw my first ever Satin Bower Bird!) If you've had enough of the peace and quiet, Lorne is just 25 minutes away, for some great restaurants, and the beautiful beach. Definitely coming back.

This place is just fabulous a wonderful escape from the city . Our house was beautiful, from the crisp bed linen to the colourful parrots which entertained each morning! ! Plenty of this to keep you and your kids entertained, big hit with my son was the games room . If you are looking for somewhere to relax and connect with nature this is it !!! I love it , we all love it was sad to come home ! See you again very soon and thank you xxxx

What a beautiful location! The cottage we stayed in was well appointed, super clean and cosy and set in amongst beautiful rainforest. Hosts Nicole and Ryan were welcoming and very responsive to our enquiries prior to booking. Lot's of lovely walking trails and a beautiful creek running through the valley. You wont be disappointed! I'd definitely recommend King Parrot.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at King Parrot Cottages. It is a beautiful location with stunning views and excellent amenities. We really enjoyed sitting by the fireplace in the evening sampling the local wine. Very friendly and helpful hosts.
