Services
We have been serving the communities of Bayside, Kingston and Glen Eira since 1958 and operate from a single location that offers the full range of veterinary services. Moorabbin Veterinary Hospital is privately owned and run by the vets who treat your animals and is completely independent. We are all animal owners ourselves and understand the bond that exists between you and your pets.
Georgia joined the nursing team as a nursing assistant in 2016, after completing her work experience at MVH. Her love of animals sparked as a child, playing with her Aunties dogs and enjoying time at the local rock pools searching for sea critters! Georgia is also one of our puppy preschool instructors, enjoying educating owners about their new additions and not to mention cuddling puppies every week!
Jenny started at Moorabbin Veterinary Hospital in 1978! She remembers that she was interested in doing something in the medical field and also had a love of animals, so when she saw an advertisement in the local paper for a nursing position at MVH, she applied - and the rest is history! Many of our regular clients have grown to know Jenny well over the years, and love her for her sympathetic ear and also her inimitable style and wit!
Marian started at Moorabbin Veterinary Hospital in 1985! She has got to know many of our clients over the years, and says that talking to people is her favourite part of her day! Marian is a mad St. Kilda FC fan, and was even a marching girl for them back in the day at Junction Oval! Marian also enjoys gardening, traveling, ten pin bowling and going to shows in town.

I came across Moorabbin Veterinary Hospital during Christmas as my cat got into an accident and broke her leg. This clinic has been absolutely remarkable, i could not recommend enough. I am not even from the area but willing to travel for the quality of service, kind and caring staff that I am constantly greeted with. Not only were they super informative, but i also felt that they genuinely cared and wanted to help at the most economical price. The saddest day arrived on Monday when we had to make that awful decision to put our beautiful 11 year old terrier to sleep. As everyone knows as you’re reading this post it’s heartbreaking . With the covid situation as it is , some clinics won’t allow you in as a couple to say your final farewell , however, John and his wonderful team allowed my husband and I to be with Ted as he got his wings to fly while both cuddling him in the car with the sun shining outside. An experience that no pet owner wants to go through was made as best it could by this kind practice. Please chose these guys

Moorabbin Veterinary Hospital is the best vets I've ever been to. The doctors are friendly, knowledgeable and good at explaining issues and options for treatment. They provide great behavioral advice and general advice for a pets well being. The receptionists and nurses are also second to none and create a really welcoming atmosphere. I've been going to them for roughly 5 years now and have seen several different doctors and all have been good. Even the passing of one of my pets was greatly eased by their considerate handling of such a difficult event. I honestly can't recommend them highly enough

MVH a most caring and considerate veterinary clinic who I've had a 'doggy' relationship with for over 22 years! A team of friendly caring staff who go above and beyond to look after my fur babies. The care and concern shown to my dogs has been outstanding. I could not speak more highly of MVH!

Quite simply some of the best people you will ever come across, both professional and personable. They have constantly treated my four-legged babies like they are members of their own family; with genuine compassion, love and dignity.
I could not recommend them any higher. I live well outside of the Moorabbin area but will always take my fur-babies to them.

Moorabbin Vet Hospital staff went out of their way to help me in a very tricky situation, where I had to get my cat across the country under difficult circumstances. My cat had never been a patient of theirs, but they were kind and supportive of both him and me throughout the whole event. I am so grateful for the care they gave my cat to make sure he was able to fly, and for the effort they went to to ensure everything was as easy for us as possible. Amazing staff :)

We needed a vet on a Saturday morning after our recently rescued cat injured himself. We chose MVH initially for convenience as it was right around the corner from where we live. The vet who dealt with us was Dr Sarah Park and she couldn't have been more caring with our cat. We'd definitely recommend this practice and will continue to use their services.

Just recently had one of my boys desexed. The post op care has been outstanding - a text or a call daily just to check on him. Any time I’ve had to come in, everyone’s so incredibly friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend enough - you can tell everyone here genuinely cares about you and your pet’s wellbeing.

The following email was sent to you on the 1st February 2019 and as yet we have not received a response. We are extremely disappointed with your lack of interest and most saddened to lose a beloved pet without closure. We hope this will not happen to other pets and their owners attending your veterinary hospital.
