Abacus Child Care Centre is situated in a tranquil, attractive internal block with lovely views of the Tamar River. The Centre operates a 'Family Grouping' model whereby all ages of children have the opportunity to mix together throughout the day. There are separate areas for groups and individuals to have some space (such as the 'secret garden') but involvement with different ages is encouraged.

Here at Abacus Child Care we have a dedicated team of educators who have been chosen not only for their experience and qualifications, but also for their enthusiasm for work in this specialised Family Grouping Centre and/or our Outside School Hours Care Program.
The Educators use their knowledge of children's development and their own unique set of skills and interests, and, together with the rest of the team, provide interesting, exciting and educational programs.Whether at Long Day Care or Outside School Hours Care, our team aims to enhance your child's development whilst in a caring and nurturing environment.
