Situated within minutes of Launceston's CBD, Newstead Childcare Centre is a long day education and care service operating Monday to Friday from 6.30am - 6.30pm.
Offering both full and half day care options, our service has highly qualified and professionally trained educators, who utilise The Early Years Learning Framework as the foundation for quality play-based learning. Newstead Child Care Centre is a private family owned service. We are a purposed built centre, licensed to educate and care for up to 106 children between the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years. Our centre offers five spacious and beautifully equipped learning areas, reflective of the children and aimed to meet individual routines, needs and learning outcomes.
The Fun Stuff

Our aim is to guide children to become effective learners through an environment that is rich, challenging and stimulating. We offer a large indoor space, including two separate sleep rooms and the Nursey has their own outdoor play area. Our qualified educators work in partnership with you to ensure that each child's individual needs are met and catered for.
The Yummy Stuff

Maddi's passion for cooking started way back when she was in Grade 5. She loved studying Hospitality as an option at school and from there she knew what she wanted to do with her life. Starting work at a local East coast pizza restaurant when she was fourteen, Maddi went on to complete an apprenticeship at Cataract on Paterson and worked at various other establishments on her way to Newstead Childcare Centre.

Our preferred method of payment is weekly or fortnightly direct debit with a credit/debit card. We accept Mastercard or VISA. Our direct debits are processed on Thursdays. All fees must be paid one week in advance. Unpaid and overdue fees may result in the termination of care and the account sent to debt collectors.
