The Doutta Galla Hotel (The Doot) has been a locals favourite since 1889. With a proud heritage, retaining many of the original features that keep its unique "Melbourne pub" feel. Sound Lounge

Open from noon until late during the week, and until 3am on weekends, the Sound Lounge is the hub of The Doot. The beautiful artwork on the walls & ceiling are the best example of what makes the Doot Party Bar a unique space. They are in fact disguised acoustic panels and sound traps that support the 16 satellite speakers and 4 subs.

With menus that can be tailored to your tastes and budget, we can work with you to create the perfect event for you and your guests. Upstairs, the newly refurbished upstairs Magnolia Room is a classically designed three room space which can be booked for cocktail functions of 70 to 120 people.
