Nice pub bistro with good service and moderate prices. The booth seating in the bar and bistro is unusual and charming. It was quiet on Sunday night despite there being live music in a back bar.

This is our local, only a short walk away. Fresh Carlton Draught on tap and a good selection on the menu makes it a go-to place for us. Don't miss a pot and a parma on Wednesday!

I would have given it a zero star rating if that was possible. I placed bets at the venue on the melb cup race as a casual punter. Old guy at counter (possibly owner) was very irritable and rude - maybe hes had lots of casual punters asking basic how to bet questions but still it was a negative experience . I would have left and gone to another venue if it hadnt been for the fact that I had a busy schedule .will never go there again!

Solid, traditional pub. Good food and usual CUB range of beers on tap. Would be great to have a couple of good independent craft beer options as well.

Terrific good value pub meals here for lunch. I had the stuffed pepper which was delicious and well presented. My friend had the pork which was huge. The wines available were decent and the cost was modest compared with other pubs I know. The staff were lovely here as well. Its a good sound suburban pub experience.

First time customer, eating in the bistro as part of a group. Very good food (quality and quantity) and staff were excellent. Good atmosphere as well, particularly for a mid-week evening.
