Dance Classes
Structured dance programs for ages 2+ covering ballet, jazz, tap, Irish dance, and contemporary styles. Our syllabus follows Australian Institute of Classical Dance and ADCRG standards while incorporating modern teaching methods. Students develop technical proficiency, performance skills, and physical coordination in a supportive environment that celebrates individual progress.
Musical Theatre
Integrated programs combining singing, acting, and dance for aspiring performers. Classes follow AMEB vocal standards and include scene work, character development, and ensemble performance techniques. Participants gain experience in full-scale productions while developing stagecraft skills and performance confidence through regular showcase events.
Acrobatics
Specialist acrobatics training for ages 7-12 focusing on flexibility, tumbling, and strength development. Classes incorporate safe progressions for cartwheels, handstands, and aerial moves while maintaining dance technique. Our program prepares students for competitive acro dance while enhancing general dance performance capabilities.
Holiday Workshops
Intensive performing arts programs during school holidays featuring dance, drama, and singing workshops. Participants collaborate on mini-musicals, develop new performance skills, and showcase their work in final presentations. The program includes creative arts activities and social interaction opportunities in a structured, supervised environment.
Adult Classes
Inclusive dance classes for adults of all experience levels, from beginners to returning dancers. What age groups do you cater for?

Excellent school for adults getting back into dancing- caters for all levels! I have joined in with the Adults Tap and am loving Ziggys classes. Great me time in a really warm and friendly group. Cant wait to be able to add some more classes down the track, as they have plenty of options which can be rare to find for adult dancers.

Artz Collective is an incredible studio in Melbournes west. From the moment I stepped foot in there nearly 10 years ago I have felt at home. Back then I was returning to dance after a number of years off due to serious injury and I was nervous about returning to dance (particularly as an adult), but I didnt need to be. The teachers and students welcomed me with open arms and I dont regret taking that first, scary step all those years ago. Returning to dance from injury was difficult, and took me quite some time to get back into it, but the teachers worked with me to my then limitations

Be very careful with this school. As a method of payment you need to provide your credit card details. My daughter was there for 4 months and she could not continue going because they put her in week day classes (impossible for her to do it). The only solution they gave me was doing the same class again (not really worth it, I must say). For that reason, she would not continue next year. After saying that we were leaving the school next year, they charged us January, so I checked our bank account and I saw that they had charged us 7 months instead of 4: she took a free trial class the last Saturday

An absolutely amazing school!!! Ive been at this performing arts school for 13 years and in all my time Ive been met with nothing but love, support and the friendly faces in this community. The staff have helped me to grow as an artist and person, and have helped me to achieve all of my impossible goals

After 20 years of not dancing, and my every increasing waist line, I needed to do something! And I'm glad I did! The Adult Ballet and Tap Classes at The Artz Collective are the best thing I've done for myself in a long time. Apart from the fitness, I am having so much fun with like minded adults who love to dance, have a laugh, and have moments of magic! More importantly, I've discovered my own love of dance and the way I feel when I do! You cant beat that!
