Report
A Divorce is a very simply process in Australia and can be done online through the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court website. There is also a DYI kit which can be downloaded which tells you step-by-step what needs to be done. If your Divorce is not straight forward or if you are time poor, you may need the assistance of a lawyer to ensure everything is correctly filed.
Criminal Law
Report
For less serious offences, released on bail immediately but you will be served with a summons to appear in court on a later date to face your charges. Depending on the charge, your case may be heard in the Victorian Magistrates' Court, the County Court, and the Supreme Court. Most offences are heard in the Magistrates' Court and more serious offences are heard in the County and Supreme Court.
