Fairy Feet Dance Club Mernda was founded in 2014 by Laura Di Mauro, a passionate dance educator dedicated to creating a joyful and imaginative environment for young children to explore dance. Our boutique studio in Rosanna specialises in age-appropriate classes for toddlers, preschoolers, and early primary school children, focusing on foundational dance skills through play-based learning. With over a decade of experience, we prioritise nurturing self-confidence and a love for movement without the pressures of competition.Our program incorporates themes, props, and music to engage developing minds and bodies, supported by awards recognising us as one of Melbourne's most popular kids' activities. We relocated to our purpose-built 'enchanted' studio in 2021, featuring unique elements like a life-size Fairy Door entrance.

Toddler Tinkerbell Classes
30-minute dance sessions for 18-month to 3-year-olds with adult participation. Develops motor skills and self-awareness through imitation and repetitive activities. No prior dance experience required for parents. Focuses on creating comfort in classroom environments and responding to teacher directions.
Preschool Pixie Classes
45-minute themed dance classes for 3-5-year-olds exploring movement through props and music. Themes include 'Under the Sea' and 'Princesses'. Encourages creativity while developing rhythm and coordination. Parents may observe but must remain quiet to maintain learning focus.

Founder and Principal
Laura established Fairy Feet Dance Club Mernda in 2014 after seven years teaching non-competitive dance. Her philosophy focuses on joyful movement exploration for young children. With a background in calisthenics and jazz ballet, she created the enchanted Rosanna studio to provide a unique dance experience.

My 5 year old has loved every minute of her Fairy Feet dance lessons (even those held via zoom in lockdown). Miss Laura is so engaging, the children clearly love her and they learn so much from her. Above all, they have FUN! We look forward to continuing with dance lessons well into the future.

Our experience with Fairy Feet Dance Club is everything I wanted for my daughter and more! Going to class is the highlight of her week and she's practicing songs and moves the rest of the time. She adores Miss Laura and is captivated by the fun and educational class every time. I've been really impressed by how Miss Laura is incorporating beginner ballet positions into a class format that consistently engages young kids. It's very well-thought-out balance. She's very, very kind and patient but also firm about staying focused in class. I can't recommend this enough to anyone with a child interested

Fairy Feet Dance Club is the best decision we've ever made for our daughter. Laura is professional, an excellent communicator, patient and is always 'switched on' with every class. After 2.5 years of growing with the Dance Club there hasn't been one class where we've felt a drop in the energy level, creativity, warmth and love from Laura. You feel the difference with her as the Director and Founder also teaching the class - the passion is always there. WE LOVE FAIRY FEET DANCE. I cant recommend Miss Lauras beautiful dance classes enough! My girls have been attending for 3 years and absolutely love Miss Lauras classes! She is so engaging, joyful, fun and so lovely with all her little Fairy Feet dancers. Every term she incorporates a new theme, brings in new activities and learning. With Melbourne being in lockdown, Miss Laura hasnt let any of us down and has created fantastic fun online classes which have helped keep normalcy and fun in our home. This is a truly remarkable place for young girls to thrive and grow through the world of dance. Laura is an exceptional teacher who goes above and beyond for her students, both in the classroom and in the virtual COVID space.
