Ours starts in 1876 when the building was opened as the Bellevue Hotel. The first plot twist came in 1900 when the new owner, James Kavanaugh, renamed it The Sackville after his not-so-local birthplace in Scotland, but the regulars quickly forgave him. His wife took over the pub in 1903 when he passed away and The Sacky has been at the heart of the Rozelle community ever since.

At the pubs we take a mix of both bookings and walk-ins. We take a certain amount of bookings for each time frame and also leave some of the venue available for people to be able to walk in. Depending on the time you wish to arrive, there may be a wait. The team will do their best to accommodate everyone.
